CORONA VIRUS SAGA

CORONA VIRUS SAGA

This Virus has become a never-ending period pain on all of us, it drains the life out of everything and everyone. It leaves us paralyzed, it leaves us hungry, it leaves us broken. No matter how positive one wants to be, there’s always something that bursts that bubble.

‘’I don’t feel like waking up in the morning to do my sessions because I feel tired most of the time, but eventually I build up the strength to stay focused and remember what is important, which is keeping fit mentally and physically. Although sometimes I want to stop, something will not let me do that to myself that is why I keep on pushing’’. Thokozile Mkosi mentioned.

I have mentioned before in the previous stories published on the website about the light at the end of the tunnel, well if there is a light at the end of this tunnel, it sure is a long tunnel indeed. This tunnel is dark, it is cold, it reeks of death, desperation and hopelessness.

However, the circumstances the BB ladies keep on pushing, one cannot help but ask if its positivity or just mere ignorance of the circumstances at hand. Whatever it is, it is working for them as they are all continuing very well with their training at home, keeping to their healthy diets and just simply being.

There have been some new developments since the ‘’Corona Virus Lock down saga’’.

During all the saga around the VIRUS there has been some good news for the football community in Alexandra Township. The Alexandra stadium is getting a ‘’makeover’’. The stadium has not been complying to host high level matches such as the National First Division, MDC, PSL matches and after an inspection that happened early in the year the stadium is getting a serious makeover.

It is hard to celebrate such good news during this Corona Virus saga, but this gives something forward to look at the end of all this Pandemic.

With the implementation of the Level 3 lock down, the BB ladies will be finding it very easy to get around their spaces to be able to train.

The girls keep amazing with their positivity, ‘’change starts with us, what you feed your mind, your habits make a huge difference, lets keep healthy by eating healthy, washing our hands, and wearing our face masks.’’ The BB ladies plead to the public.
