Birds put 5 past struggling Zebra Forces.

The game started with Blue Birds in attack, but their effort was defended for a corner kick. Zebra Force soon got back into the game and had saw a chance when the Birds keeper was off her line and theier shot went inches over the bar. A minute later the spotted the birds keeper off her line yet again and with no luck their shot went over the bar again.

On the other opposite end of the game, Birds were running riot as Vangile took on the Zebra Forces defence to lay the ball for Noxolo Zongo Gcina to make it 0-1 in favour of Blue Birds just 18 minutes into the game. A minute later, passes were exchanged between Zongo and Nyathama whom took on the whole Zebra Forces defense to make it 0-2 in favour of Blue Birds. The half progressed and both teams were teasing each other, and no team willing to make a mistake, until the dying minutes of the first half whereby Blue Birds got a corner and Ntsoaki Phala headed over the bar. The half ended 0-2 in favour of Blue Birds.

The second half began with Blue Birds continuing where they left off as they were dominant both in defense and attack. 7 minutes in the second half their dominance was felt as Gadaffi picked up Zongo, who capitalized to make it 0-3 in favour of Blue Birds. They continued to bulldoze the Zebra Forces defense as new Birds player Deveney Rhoda came from the back to register her in name in the score sheet to make it 0-4 in favour of Blue birds. This was Rhoda's first goal in 2 games in the blue and yellow colours of Blue Birds.

Thswarelo Digauta missed a clear cut chance as she was left to pass the net, but her shot went over the bar and was soon taken off for Dimakatso Mashinini's debut game. On the opposite end of the pitch Zebra Forces pulled one back to make 1-4 as the Blue Birds defense was caught sleeping. Blue Birds got a chance as the Zebra Forces keeper handled the ball outside of the box, and Vangile took the free kick but the keeper took the shot with ease.

Birds got another chance as debutant Dimakatso Mashinini was on target after a pass from Vangile "Nyathama"Mnguni. This was Nyathama's second assist in the game, and for Dimakatso it was a dream start, because not many players can register a goal to their name in their debut. Zebra Forces tried to pull another goal back, but the Birds keeper was Siphesihle Madala was on form of her life. The game ended 1-5 in favour of Blue Birds away from home.
