THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES

THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES

Unfortunately we have nothing positive to say since the last article that we had posted on the website.

It has been hard for the girls ever since the country lockdown. However there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, we would love to believe that we shall see the light and remain positive during this situation.

There is no easy way to deal with this situation as the whole country, in fact, the whole world is experiencing difficulties with regards to this pandemic.

We have been communicating with the girls by means of WhatsApp, with all that’s been happening, it is great to know that they are making the most out of this lockdown, as we have mentioned in the previous article. They are feeding their minds with information in the form of reading books and also maintaining a healthy diet to keep their bodies fit. They are obviously taking into consideration the home training guidelines provided by Coach Malvin Khumalo.

Coach Malvin Khumalo had some positivity to share with everybody in his statement where he mentioned, “the lockdown has been a tough process and this is an important time to be mentally strong. We need to feed our minds with positive responses from this situation.” The coach urges everybody to be hopeful.

This pandemic has not only altered the Football universe, it has had some major changes in the whole world. Life as we know it has changed overnight and has forced us to think twice about the decisions that we make. We would like to urge the people of Alexandra to take this matter seriously as an irresponsible decision by an individual can have a major influence on our health.

The girls are all looking forward to getting back to the fields and doing what they love. We have to acknowledge that they have made us proud of how they are handling this situation. They are smart and responsible young women who are just trying to be the best they can in life considering the circumstances they have to face.

So yes, the struggle still continues
