The Birds set to redeem themselves.

The SASOL league is back again this week. Our first team will be playing their second game of the season. This comes after the team lost its opening match narrowly to VUT at home on the 8th of April. The teams is still in a procces of assembling a stable sqaud for the sesaon as only 13 players were registered  when the first match was played.

VUT opened the scoring through a snap shot after a goal mouth scramble that the host failled to clear. Zimi Xabanisa equalized before half time to take the score to 1-1. The host lost a lot of chances into the second half, and got punished in the dying minutes of the game when VUT got a winner from a conner kick.

Our game against UJ was postponed due to the funeral of Winny Mandela. The match will be played later at a date to be annonced.

Meanwhile our under 13 team that plays in the boys league will be playing agaist Westen Boys at the SAFE HUB on saturday at 11:00.
