#CelebratingHeroes Gauteng Activation.

Blue birds have been invited to take part in 5-Aside Activation and PR Plan by Sasol. Sasol is the main sponsor in the country's elite woman's league in the form of Sasol Woman's league, and they are also sponsor to the woman's national team Banyana Banyana. Banyana Banyana will be going for a friendly in the US against the United States of America's Senior National Women’s Football Team on Saturday, 9th July 2016 in preparation for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Blue birds have confirmed that they will be taking part in the 5-a-side tournament at the Nike Football Centre in Soweto in #CelebratingHeroes ahead of Sasol Banyana Banyana’s trip to the USA.
The tournament will be the last of the three #CelebratingHeroes activations following successful activations in Sasolburg and Secunda respectively.
The tournament details as follows:

Date: Friday, 01st July 2016

Time: 09h00 – 15h30

Venue: Nike Football Centre

Number of Teams: 8

Format: Group Stage and Knock Out.

There will be prizes for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Positions on the day it’s not a serious tournament but an extension of the #CelebratingHeroes Gauteng Activation.
