August,29 2016

Birds are preparing to travel to Mogale city to face Aqua Ladies.

Blue birds are set to face off against Aqua Ladies who will be in their own backyard. This season will be the first season Blue birds’ travel to Mogale City as Aqua Ladies is a newly promoted club to the ladies elite league. Blue birds’ technical team is wary and are confident about a win which will take them to 10 points as they are now currently sitting with 7 points from 8 games.

Aqua ladies on the other hand are sitting at the bottom of the log with 2 points from 9 games. That is something that will make them come into this more hungry and the fact that they will be in their own backyard will not make things easy for Blue birds. Blue birds are on a high after signing 3  players, 2 of which are former Sundowns players and one Wits player. This will be a much anticipated match as both teams really need the points on offer.

The teams have faced off already in the first round and Blue birds were victorious with a score line of 3-1 at home, and they will be looking to make it a 2/2  away from home come Saturday the 3rd of September. The game will be played at 12:00 PM at Munsieville Stadium - Krugersdorp.
