In partnership with kicks4Africa and Mavu, Antoinette Benneker handed over another donation of 16 pairs of soccer boots for The Blue Birds Ladies Academy.

MAVU has donated approximately 50 pairs in a period of two years, Director of Operations at MVU, Bram Van Wijck said this project was important because having having young girls play soccer contributes to community development.

MAVU and The Blue Birds Ladies Academy board met on Friday in hopes of securing ways to strengthen each other’s operations and possibly in future an exchange program between Blue Birds ladies and FC Berghuizen Vrouwen 1 in the Netherlands.
