double header as the Birds take on UJ and The national team of Lesotho

Its going to be a weekend full of action as the team have a double header as we playing UJ ladies in the league match on Sunday at 13:00 at Alexandra Stadium, then at 16:00 the team will take on the national team of Lesotho as there preparing for the COSAFA cup that take place in Zimbambwe from the 13th of this month.

This comes after the team has already played with the national team of Swaziland and drew 1-1. The international exposure that the team is getting will help prepare the team for the domestic league battle as the team aims to finish in the top 8. The team is currently on position no 9, with 31 pints and one point behind Croesurs with 21 games played. TRe UJ game becomes a must win game if the team is to stand a chance to finish in the top 8.

 

With the team aiming to defend its JM Busha tittle in Zimbabwe next year, these types of games will be highly important in shaping the team towards the dream.

Our junior teams will be involed in the anual Zodwa Khoza meorial tournament in Soweto.The under 13s will play agist a very strong springs Home sweepers, while under 17s play Dk Stars of Soweto. All their matches will take palce in Nike Center in Soweto on Sunday.
